A refreshing drink made from tiger nuts, often with fartons. Perfect on a hot day.

The area around Alicante makes full wines from the Monastrell grape. Ask for a local bodega.

Around midday people enjoy a vermouth on ice with an olive, as an aperitif.

A cold cana or a clara, beer with lemon soda, belongs on a sunny terrace.
