Terms and Conditions
1. Parties and applicability
These terms apply to all services provided by Corablanca SL, based at PL LIBERTAD ALICANTE, Spain, email info@corablanca.es, phone +34 711 28 02 51.
By using our website or services you accept these terms.
2. Our services
Cora Blanca provides guidance and administrative support for moving to and living on the Costa Blanca. Our services may include:
- Guidance with opening a bank account
- Introduction and coordination through a registered insurance intermediary
- Coordination of administrative procedures, including applying for a NIE number
- Interpreting and translation through an appropriate language professional
- Guidance with phone, internet, energy and other home services
- Car rental brokerage
- Coordination with lawyers, gestores and notaries
- Preparation for housing and a controlled introduction to an estate agent
3. What we are and what we are not
Cora Blanca is a private service provider. We are not a government body, a law firm, a bank, an insurer or an estate agent. We do not issue official documents ourselves and do not carry out acts that are legally reserved for a qualified professional.
Legal and notarial acts are carried out by qualified professionals we work with. We coordinate the process, prepare files and guide you.
You can also carry out official procedures yourself, at a lower cost, directly with the competent authority. Our fee covers the guidance, coordination and convenience.
4. What we cannot guarantee
We make an effort to work carefully and on time. However, we cannot guarantee:
- A specific appointment date with a government body
- A specific turnaround time for a procedure
- Approval of an application by a government body, bank or insurer
- The availability of a specific property
- A specific rental return or value development
Outcomes depend on the deciding authority, the completeness of the documents provided and circumstances beyond our control.
5. Your obligations
You provide accurate and complete information and documents in good time. Incorrect or incomplete information may lead to delay or rejection of an application. The consequences of this are for your account.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data and documents you provide.
6. Prices and payment
Prices are made known in advance, in euros and including applicable taxes, unless stated otherwise.
Where government fees or third party costs apply, such as notary or registration costs, it is stated whether these are included.
Payment is processed by a certified payment provider. For file services the amount is placed on hold on your card at checkout and only charged at the moment we begin the work. If we cannot deliver the service the hold lapses and nothing is charged. On most cards a hold remains valid for seven days; if it expires before we begin, we will ask you to pay again.
All costs are communicated in advance. We do not charge costs that have not been agreed in advance.
7. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer you have the right to cancel the agreement within fourteen days of concluding it, without giving a reason.
If you expressly ask us to start performance within this period and the service is fully performed within that period, the right of withdrawal lapses. If performance has started but is not yet complete, you owe a proportional part of the fee for the work already carried out.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, please contact us via info@corablanca.es.
8. Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant service.
We are not liable for decisions made by government bodies, banks, insurers or other third parties, nor for acts of qualified professionals you instruct directly.
These limitations do not apply in case of intent or gross negligence, and do not affect mandatory consumer rights.
9. Information on the website
Information about legislation, taxes, procedures, costs and market data is of a general nature and may change. This information does not constitute legal, tax or financial advice.
Calculations and estimates, including the rental calculator, are indicative and based on average market data. They do not constitute a guarantee of future income or valuations.
10. Termination
You may terminate an ongoing assignment in writing. Work already carried out and third party costs incurred will be charged.
We may terminate an assignment if you fail to meet your obligations, if continuing would conflict with law or regulation, or if a condition necessary for performance is missing.
11. Complaints
Complaints can be submitted via info@corablanca.es. We confirm receipt within two working days and aim to provide a substantive response within ten working days.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes will be brought before the courts of Alicante, unless mandatory consumer law designates another competent court.
13. Changes
We may amend these terms. For an ongoing assignment, the terms that applied at the time it was agreed remain in effect.
